There’s so much conflicting info, that the tipycal customer doesn’t really even know where to start when it comes to eating for fat loss.
The second thing that works and I can surely underline this, is to focus on the intensity of your workouts and concentrate on working the body as a whole in order to get the best response to lose that flabby body fat. To really get lean, the workouts should have high intensity, with short breaks, working the largest muscles of the body, instead of trying to train a specific small muscle like the biceps, triceps, or calves.
For the third thing, we´ll talk about training the abs specifically. When it comes to training the abs, if you want the best results, I recommend forgetting about the crunches and situps for the most part. They are fine for someone who is really out of shape, but most people that have been training need a higher motivation for their abs than crunches. Crunches are one of the abs workouts that really provide the least amount of resistance, and remember that resistance is what creates and tones the muscles. One of THE highest resistance exercises for the abs, is hanging leg raises, and it´s not how you see them at the gym. The best way to do these and actually working your abs like mad is to curl your pelvis up as you raise your legs. Most of the people do this wrong.
